Pueblos Indígenas, ITS, VHI y SIDA

FCI Bolivia, the local indigenous organization (CIPOA), and the district level health authorities (SEDES Pando), have worked together on a large project which includes an assessment of knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) related to HIV and AIDS in five indigenous communities. Based on these findings, the project team developed Pueblos Indígenas, ITS, VHI y SIDA (Indigenous groups, STI, HIV and AIDS), that demonstrates the importance of expanding prevention efforts in underserved areas.
