About FCI Program of MSH
The FCI Program of MSH advocates at the global, country, and community levels, for improved women’s, newborns’ and adolescents’ health and rights. The FCI Program of MSH engages in evidence-based, constructive activism. It works to build political commitment, develop stronger policies, foster accountability, and mobilize increased funding for programs that improve sexual, reproductive, maternal, newborn and adolescent health and increase equity by reaching young people, indigenous groups and other underserved populations.
Launched by Management Sciences for Health (MSH) in January 2016, the FCI Program of MSH builds on a long history of effective evidence-based advocacy and capacity-building by Family Care International (FCI), a leading global advocate for women’s health and rights for three decades. The FCI Program of MSH reinforces reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health as an integrating theme that extends across MSH’s work to strengthen health systems for greater health impact.
